Required Materials
To apply for the REU, please follow the link to the form below. You will need the following materials to complete the application:
- Unofficial transcripts for institutions attended over the past two years (pdf)
- Name, phone, and email of two references (reference letters not required at this time)
Selection Criteria
Applicants will be selected based on a number of criteria, including: academic record, application question responses, alignment with desired projects, and feedback from references. We are committed to providing equal opportunity for students from a diverse set of backgrounds and educational experiences. Students enrolled in 2-year institutions and from populations traditionally underrepresented in the sciences are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience is not required.
